Micro Enterprise Development Programmes (MEDPs) – Dima Hasao

In total, approximately 120 women associated with Self Help Groups (SHGs) reaped the benefits of these programs. Noteworthy attendees included representatives from various banks, including SBI Baithalangso and Assam Gramin Vikash Bank, Voksong Branch.

From December 15 to 17, 2020, Kalong-Kapili organized programs for women in Self Help Groups at Diyung and Harengajao blocks in Dima Hasao district. Supported by NABARD and in collaboration with ASRLM, they conducted Micro Enterprise Development Programs (MEDPs) on mask and sanitizer making, benefiting 60 women. The importance of Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) was also emphasized. Additionally, Kalong-Kapili partnered with NABARD’s DDM for Book Keeping programs and Village Level Programs, benefiting around 200 women. Bank representatives and officials were actively involved.
